Under eyes
Under eyes that stop looking tired first.

Good for
- Hollowing under the eyes
- Dark circles caused by shadow rather than pigment
- A tear trough line that runs toward the cheek
How it works+
This is the most conservative area on the face. Products approved for it, Juvederm Volbella and Restylane Eyelight, are placed with a blunt cannula in small amounts. Some people are better served by their own PRF, or by the lower eyelid surgery Dr. Chopra performs, and that gets said out loud here.
What it feels like+
Numbing cream and a blunt cannula, so one entry point instead of many needle pricks. Pressure more than pain.
Afterward+
Puffiness for several days, sometimes a week. Sleep with your head raised. A bruise is possible.
Not for you if+
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Puffiness from fat rather than hollowing, which filler makes worse
- Very thin skin that would show the product
- Allergy to lidocaine or severe allergy history
Sydney goes through this with you before anything starts.
Pairs well with+
PRF as a first step. Lumecca for pigment. Morpheus8 with the eye tip for crepey skin.
Is under eye filler safe?+
In trained hands and small amounts, yes. The area is close to important blood vessels, which is why a cannula is used and why Sydney treats it conservatively.
Filler or PRF under the eyes?+
PRF is your own blood, works gradually over a series, and suits thin skin. Filler is immediate. Many people start with PRF.
What if I need surgery?+
Then you hear it here, and the surgeon is down the hall. A lower eyelid lift treats fat and skin that no injection can.
